Des Moines Symphony: Celebration Finale May 3, 2008

The season finale begins with the peaceful and life affirming warmth of Jean Sibelius' music. Christopher O'Riley, most widely known for his NPR show 'From the Top,' shows his own talents on the keyboard with the Ravel Concerto in G minor. Closing this season of celebration is Saint-Saens' majestic organ symphony. With its energetic and triumphant finale, this is a wonderful conclusion to the Symphony's 70th anniversary season.
