A modern and versatile artist, Russell Davies is also recognized as an accomplished pianist, performing with his partner Maki Namekawa. Straight from an appearance at the Ruhr Piano Festival, the pair performs an intimate evening of works for four hands and two pianos. The program includes the North American premiere of 'Four Movements for Two Pianos' by Philip Glass and four-hand piano versions of contemporary works by Chen Yi, Stravinsky, and Steve Reich.
