Demystifying the Digital Collage March 23, 2010

Fran will show some of her photographic collages and discuss how these are constructed from the alchemy of photography, scanner, and computer. She will also present some of her earlier work that will show the transition from analog to digital. Fran’s fabricated photographic realities suggest an unfinished story or a snippet from a dream. The photographic collage technique is perfectly suited to portray the imagined world of idea, memory, and emotion.
