Special Guest of honor:

Dr Pratap Midha, Director of the J Watumull Global Hospital & Research Center in Mt Abu, Rajastan, India, will present medical & holistic services rendered by the hospital to the under privileged villages nearby.

The proceeds for this concert will go to a rural hospital in Mt. Abu, Rajasthan, India. Dr. Partap Midha, Director of the J. Watumull Global Hospital & Research Centre, will be with us to present medical and holistic services rendered by the hospital to the underprivileged villages nearby (www.ghrc-abu.com). Global Hospital is a centre for holistic health care. With about 3,000 surgeries and 85,000 outpatient treatments in 2009, it combines the best that modern medicine has to offer with complementary medicine systems like Ayurveda, homeopathy, magnet therapy and so on. Besides offering medical services through outpatient clinics and hospitalization, the hospital has expanded its operations to focus on community outreach programs, medical research, vocational education in paramedical streams and the promotion of health awareness.

The concert is sponsored by the Point of Life Foundation, a US nonprofit entity founded on the vision of a spiritual model of health care with emphasis on the well-being of the whole person (www.pointoflife.org). The venue is Anubhuti Meditation & Retreat Center located at 820 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato, California 94949 (anubhutiretreatcenter.org).

The Point of Life Foundation (POL) is a US nonprofit entity founded on the vision of a spiritual model of health care with emphasis on the well-being of the whole person. It aims to integrate a people-centered approach within the existing approaches in health and care. The work of the Point of Life Foundation has been inspired by the working model of the Global Hospital & Research Centre (GHRC) in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, India. This hospital, in addition to making basic health services accessible to a deprived population, is an international flagship introducing "holistic" and spiritual approaches to health care through medical research and outreach projects.

We certainly hope that you will support this needed service provided by the J. Watumull Global Hospital & Research Center by making a tax deductible donation at the event or even if you are not able to attend. Checks should be made out to the Point of Life Foundation.

Thank you so much for your help and kind consideration for such a worthy service to a underprivileged population in rural India.
