This seminar is a soup-to-nuts discussion for inventors, creators of IP, start-ups, and medium sized companies without a dedicated legal team. We'll cover the arguments for whether to seek patents and trademarks, how patents can help your company, where to look for them, and how to get them submitted and approved. Equally importantly, we'll look at what is not worth patenting and trademarking, and the right way to submit the ideas that are worth patenting.

Our presenters include top-notch lawyers who will cover the details of patents and trademarks, with adequate time to answer your questions. We're also going to hear from the Venture Capital sector on how they view IP, and the importance of patents with respect to funding and company valuations. To round out our perspectives, we'll get a Case Presentation from a start-up entrepreneur who has used patents, and who has been involved in litigation around his company's IP positions.

$80 for non-members.
