Deep Banana Blackout combines well-crafted songwriting, powerful improvisational skills and a wide variety of stylistic influences, ranging from soul, funk and jazz to Latin, rock and psychedelia. After officially disbanding in 2002, the group performs infrequently for special occasions, such as the Bonnaroo and Gathering of the Vibes festivals.
