This material, much of which later appeared with a bit more sophistication on their canonical 1979 debut LP Cut, is the Slits at their rawest, edgiest, and most fun. And speaking of fun, NYC's party punk/poppers Stalkers, who've been darlings of the British press and festival circuit the last year, and have been literally tearing local stages apart of late, start things off with a bang.
