Japan's most successful International DJ and House music producer, Satoshi Tomiie got his break when a Japanese company asked him to produce a track for a promo party where the legendary DJ Frankie Knuckles was performing and saw the potential in Satoshi's music. They began a collaboration which resulted in "Tears", a chart topping track and defining moment in the vocal house movement. Since, Satoshi has gone on to become a major part of the acclaimed Def Mix crew where he has remixed for the likes of Simply Red, David Bowie, U2, and Mariah Carey just to name a few and now manages his own SAW.RECORDINGS label.
