"Death, A Very Serious Comedy" Premiere February 19, 2011

Upon discovering he has lost his life savings in a Ponzi scheme, a Beverly Hills businessman suffers from a heart attack that sends him straight to the gates of heaven. But that is only the beginning of his hilarious and surreal journey in the afterlife. Will he schmooze his way into heaven or will he be forced to make a deal with the devil?

A NEW PLAY IN ENGLISH by Amir Ohebsion and Fariborz David Diaan, "Death, A Very Serious Comedy" is a revealing look at the causes and consequences of one immigrant's misguided pursuit of the American dream.

Fariborz and Amir previously collaborated on Liquid Productions, a theatrical company that mounted productions of "The Belind Date & The Vedding" and "The Liquid Talk Show" in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York to consistent sell-out audiences. "Death" marks their reunion on stage.
