What do you get when you mix the chugging rhythms of Jamaica, the energy and emotion of American Motown, and the overthe-top pub/rock of the Pogues? Deals Gone Bad -- a culturally diverse eight-piece band from the streets of Chicago. Deals Gone Bad has played their unique brand of '50s and '60s Jamaican music for the past ten years. Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, DGB blends reggae, rocksteady, and ska music with American soul in a fiery brew all their own. The Struts collectively include Kelly Hogan, Nora O'Connor, Andy Hopkins, Mark Greenberg, Ryan Hembrey, Kevin O'Donnell, DJ Treetop Lover and Mike Bulington. Drawing upon diverse experiences in 1960s era Jamaican music, funk, soul and jazz, The Soul Captives fuse together a unique musical style that they simply refer to as "the captivating sound." Varying from blazing horn-driven Skatalites style instrumentals to smoking vocal tunes with full harmonies reminiscent of Bob Marley and the Wailers, they have yet to play for a crowd that could stay in their seats.

This write-up does not contain the correct bio for The Struts. Here is the correct bio for The Struts:

"The Struts are a five-piece band from Oakland, California. Their formula is simple. They play full-throttle rhythm and blues and they rock it hard. It's fast. It's loud. And when singer, Farrah Ancell, steps up to the microphone — when you hear her deliver that first note with all the grit and growl of a young Etta James — you'll know something serious is about to go down. It's punk rock in the juke joint and it swings like a mother."
