Called a “shaman” of folk-pop, Wilcox built a fan base through inspirational, well-crafted tunes in the vein of James Taylor and Joni Mitchell.

Wilcox’s poetic lyricism and unique guitar style made him a popular touring artist from the start, and his first studio album, How Did You Find Me Here, sold 100,000 albums by word of mouth.

Wilcox’s latest album, Open Hands, was recorded in 7 days straight in December 2008 with minimal overdubbing to recreate the live performance setting.
