Check out the astral rap, liturgical jazz and audio alchemy of New York based world hop group Darshan. Darshan is the creative and contemplative collaboration between singer/songwriter Shir Yaakov Feinstein-Feit and radical Jewish renaissance rapper Eden "Eprhyme" Pearlstein. Harmonizing Hebrew chant with hip-hop, folk rock with electro-pop, love poetry with kabbalistic psychology, Darshan is a unique and organic weave of world wisdom traditions and modern musical styles. Joining Darshan this evening will be very special guests Basya Schachter (of Pharaoh's Daughter), Rabbi Greg Wall (of the Later Prophets and Hassidic New Wave), and others.
