About Mark Henning:

London's Mark-Henning has risen up as one of the international underground's true players - recording for a volley of acclaimed European labels. Having released his debut album on the legendary UK label Soma Recordings in the summer of 2008 to great acclaim, he's busy DJing and touring his Live PA all over the world (from Australia to Japan, Russia to the USA). He also holds a residency at the HOME events near Frankfurt in Germany. Mark-Henning's sound sits somewhere between house and techno, with a healthy dose of futuristic bleeps, wonkyness, funk, darkness, groove and deepness. He has established his artist career not just through his productions - on labels such as Soma, Cynosure, Trapez, Freude am Tanzen, Foundsound, Einmaleins, Frankie, or Hypercolour - but also through his worldwide performances (having played at clubs such as Fabric, Watergate, Privilege, Bar 25, The Egg, Panorama Bar, The Arches and Harry Klein to name just a few). His tracks have been licensed to recent FABRIC and M-NUS compilations - as well as achieving airplay on radio stations worldwide. He's a much respected producer in the scene and his records are supported and played out regularly by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Craig Richards, Akufen, Mr C and Richie Hawtin. As a remixer, he also keeps busy - having reworked tracks by artists such as Gaetano Parisio, Mr. G, Brett Johnson, Tigerskin and Chris Fortier. Born in 1977 to English and German parents, he has spent most of his life in England, though has never forgotten his German techno roots and has recently relocated to Berlin.

About Killswitch:

Founded in February 2008, Killswitch is a weekly happy hour dedicated to featuring the Bay Area's finest underground techno and house talent. Founded by Stap[e DJ Javaight and Black Market Techno DJ dCOY, Killswitch has established itself as an end of the week hangout for heads, techno lovers and party people alike. Having featured a literal "who's who" of San Francisco techno, Killswitch has featured DJs and producers such as Alland Byallo, Dave Aju, Jonah Sharp, Sutekh, Clint Stewart, Worthy, J.Phlip, Drumcell,Todd Sines, live PA's from Racecar's Monocle, Auralism's Marc Smith, and Perla, and the addition of new residents Mossmoss and David Siska.

About Stap[e:

Staple is a San Francisco based collective of DJs, producers and collaborative artists, currently represented by dj's Fil "Noir" Latorre and David "Javaight" Javate.

Staple was founded in 1999 by Fil Latorre, Michael Minnich, Tony Roam and Jeff Brillhart, and the musical focus has always been on deep, quality dance music. House and Techno genres become blurred when the focus is on the music. Be it House, Techno, Electro or Acid, playing good music is Staple's top priority.

Staple was innovative during its day because it featured the best underground talent in dance music on a weekly basis, featuring guests such as Layo & Bushwacka!, Stacey Pullen, Dan Bell, Jori Hulkonnen, Common Factor, Boo Williams, Mark Ambrose and Alexi Delano. Staple provided a fresh vibe culminating in being awarded Best House Night by the SF Bay Guardian, among other awards.

In 2001, Staple took things to another level with their monthly party, 'Refuge', at the Endup, San Francisco's locale for House music. During this time, Dirty Crew/Optimal dj Javaight was added to the collective as a resident. Refuge carried on the tradition of deepness by featuring guests such as John Tejada, JT Donaldson, Theo Parrish, Alton Miller, Glenn Underground, the Rurals, and Jeno.
