d'Arenberg "Winemakers" Tasting October 27, 2011

We’re thrilled to be hosting a very special wine and food event on Thursday, October 27 in our Parlor. Winemaker and Cellar Manager Alan Varney of Australian winery d’Arenberg has joined our winemaker Conor to help out with our fall harvest -- but crushing, fermenting, and pressing grapes are not the only things they’ve been up to. Along with our Chef Brian Pierce and Sous Chef David Colston, Alan and Conor have created an exclusive d’Arenberg wine and food pairing for your tasting pleasure!

Here’s how this intimate event will work: each guest will be greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and some cheese and charcuterie to snack on. The real fun begins when Alan and Conor walk you through five wine and food pairings featuring d’Arenberg wines and small bites designed by our culinary team especially for this event.
