Danskin's commitment to children and their love for dance can be easily seen through their latest project, "The Danskin Dance Series". Danskin Senior executives and Series producers were determined to create a dance event that would allow all dancers an opportunity to compete OR perform for a very low cost. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child do what they love to do and we believe it is our responsibility to let them! It is this very commitment that has given us the ability to offer this experience for such a low cost and coupled with HUGE cash prizes. Danskin and valued partners have agreed to pledge $360,000 in cash and prizes for the tour as well as a special nationally televised event. The Danskin tour will encompass 36 cities nationwide (view our complete schedule) and all cities have been divided equally between the Eastern and Western Divisions. This event has it all; a built-in charitable donation with each entry, a division dedicated to dancers with special needs, competition and performance categories for studios, high schools, colleges, and recreational dancers, not to mention; low cost entry fees, huge cash prizes, free gifts, and television!
