Give your child the unique opportunity to explore how people around the world express themselves through dance! DanceVersity is committed to providing quality instruction in a learning environment that fosters personal growth, creativity, and cooperation. Our goal is to encourage young people to approach life with a sense of confidence in themselves, curiosity about the world, appreciation for art and diverse cultures, and delight in the pure joy of movement and music.

The DanceVersity World Dance Summer Camp is geared for ages 7-16 and appropriate for dancers of all levels. Don't miss this deeply enriching experience!

8 styles of dance from around the world will be taught each week by professional performing artists, instructors, and scholars.
Every Friday afternoon at 3pm family and friends will be treated to a colorful and inspiring display of what the students learned that week.
Students will explore dance from Afghanistan, Spain, Haiti, Zimbabwe, Brazil, Morocco, Iran, India, and more. Every week is different, and the styles taught will be a surprise!

Classes are held at Berkeley's historic Ashkenaz Music and Dance Community Center, an organization that has served our community as a center of world music and dance for decades.

BOYS and GIRLS ages 7-16 are welcome to attend all weeks, though Session 3 (August 16-20) is especially designed for boys and features a team of inspiring male instructors representing many cultures around the world!

Multi-week and sibling discounts are available.
