Nicolle Wolcott and Vanessa Walters will present 'Alley of the Dolls, This is not a sequel.' Simultaneously a satire, a comedy and an exploitation performance of the oftentimes nightmarish world of show business, Wolcott, Walters and their cohorts offer up an evening of cabaret, dance, and other odd, sinister and silly moments. Inspired by the beautiful demise of characters from 'Valley of the Dolls' and 'Beyond the Valley of the Dolls,' Wolcott and Walters investigate the temporality of celebrity and the public's fascination with the inevitable downfall of the "star" - the degradation of present day dolls, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and others. From two menacing twin dolls ravenous for fame to a disillusioned Rockette to a "don't ask don't tell" cross-dressing cadet,'Alley of the Dolls' weaves a series of obsessed, toxic sketches of life in the fast lane. Celebrity guest performers include Adam Dugas and Mia, Angela DiCarlo, Lizzy Yoder and Daniel Pettrow.
