Damien Hirst: End Game, Houston July 5, 2008

'End Game,' a sculpture completed in 2004 by British artist Damien Hirst, is now on view at the MFAH, in its first public showing in the United States. This work is one of the masterpieces of the artist, asking the ultimate question -- "what does it mean to be human?" as it balances the theme of death with the possibility of redemption and renewal.
