Dam That Cancer Presented by My Fit Foods Hosts Inaugural Post Paddle Party on Lake Austin June 20, 2011

Dam That Cancer will host their inaugural happy hour and paddle benefit, on June 20, 2011 at Abel’s on the Lake in Austin, Texas. The “We Paddle, You Party” event will follow an afternoon on Lake Austin where a group of 75 pre-selected paddlers will travel over 21 miles across Lake Austin on stand-up paddle boards in an effort to raise awareness and funds for the organization. Each paddler or group of paddlers must raise a minimum of $1,000 in donations to participate in the dam-to-dam paddle. 100 percent of the proceeds will benefit the Flatwater Foundation and will enable them to continue helping people across the nation with the physical, emotional and practical challenges of cancer.
