?Well done the band. Fabulous night out. Roxy Music deserves promoting so if you?re not interested in Tribute bands at all, and then just don?t read this. They?ve obviously done their homework and worked very hard at getting it together. The venue was absolutely packed; they loved it. From the sound check ? Let Stick Together ? we knew it was going to be fine.
Kevin Hackett does have the right kind of voice, the mannerisms, actions etc. He?s very confident in the ?Ferry? kind of way. Avalon was outstanding regarding the voice, but my favourite of the night has to be Out of the Blue. Do yourselves a favour by having a good night out.?

?The sound check of Let Stick Together confirmed to us that there was a real treat in store and we were not disappointed. Kevin Hackett strolled on with the compulsory white tuxedo looking the part and we were off with the opening VP followed by Pyjamarama.
All the usual hits were well received by many in the audience who were dancing and singing to the likes of Avalon etc (lovely backing singer as well). Out Of The Blue was excellent with a brilliant guitar solo in place of, as was Ladytron, which bemused the audience somewhat perhaps but I of course enjoyed immensely.
As usual when one?s enjoying oneself so much the gig was over far too soon, but the audience were baying for more and Let Stick Together as the encore was very well received indeed.
The gig was surprisingly good and very impressive. I shall certainly look forward to the next one and I would hope to see other fellow Avalonians in attendance as well for a really good time. Couldn?t find a better Saturday night enjoyment anywhere.
