A number of subways stop near the Maritime Building (#1, 4, 5, R, W). The island is open every Saturday and Sunday for the summer, with ferry service starting at 10 am (visit http://www.govisland.com/ for more information).

The CUNY Lecture Series is located in Pershing Hall, a two-minute walk from the ferry terminal on Governors Island. Make a left at the first intersection and follow the signs to Pershing Hall (building 125). The exhibit is located in the eastern part of Building 110. It is the first building on the right at the top of the hill."
