Join The Marin Art & Garden Center for a sweet and dazzling evening with Gail Simmons, one of the stars of Bravo's Emmy Award-winning show, Top Chef and the host of Top Chef: Just desserts.

WHAT: Gail will discuss her new book "Talking with My Mouth Full: My Life as a Professional Eater" which follows her rise from amateur eater to professional cook and world-famous TV judge and food expert. The discussion will be followed by a book signing and VIP dessert reception featuring food and sweets by well-known San Francisco caterer, Taste Catering. All proceeds benefit Marin Art & Garden Center's educational programs.

About Gail Simmons: Gail Simmons lends her strong culinary expertise as a judge and critic for Bravo's Top Chef: Texas, the ninth installment of its Emmy Award-winning series Top Chef, tasting and critiquing the competing chefs' creations each week. Gail is also the host of Top Chef: Just Desserts, Bravo's pastry-focused spin-off of the Top Chef franchise, and a regular judge on Top Chef Masters. Gail joined FOOD & WINE in 2004 and handles special projects for the epicurean magazine, acting as liaison between the marketing and editorial teams on magazine events and chef-related initiatives, working closely with the country's top culinary talent. During her tenure, she has been responsible for overseeing the annual FOOD & WINE Classic in Aspen, America's premier culinary event.
