Crispin Hellion Glover's "BIG SLIDE SHOW" and his new film "WHAT IS IT?"

Naked women wearing elephant?s masks and speaking snails are just a sample of characters in Crispin Glover?s both frightening and fascinating feature film, WHAT IS IT?

While best known for his work in Hollywood films, Glover has been a major cult icon as a post-modernist over the last two decades having performed in over 30 films, published numerous books, and recorded three albums.

WHAT IS IT? is Glover?s first feature film as director, and the first piece in a trilogy that deal with themes and concepts that the mainstream considers racy. He describes the film as ?the adventures of a young man whose principal interests are snails, salt, a pipe, and how to get home, as tormented y an hubristic racist inner psyche.?

Ten years in the making, the movie premiered at the Sundance Film Festival this year to critical praise.
