Crisis Hopkins' Off-Night Spectacular w/Jay Starr & The Freeze August 27, 2008

Bay Area comic Jay Starr joins improvisers Crisis Hopkins & The Freeze in an evening of freestyle & standup comedy at the Climate Theater on Wednesday August 27th.

"Crisis Hopkins' Off-Night Spectacular", which takes place every last Wednesday, features the now-legendary freestyle rap/improv comedy hybrid The Freeze, hosted this month by Anthony Veneziale, with music provided by The Department of Transportation.

Jay Starr is a standup comic from Kentucky that likes Transformers. He is scared of flying, the ocean makes him nervous, and he is uncomfortable in public bathrooms. He performs locally with the sketch comedy troupe SPF7.
