After a brief hiatus, our monthly comedy showcase returns to the Climate Theater on July 30th!

This month's show features Bay Area poet and comedian Bucky Sinister joining improvisers Crisis Hopkins in an evening of freestyle comedy and spoken word. "The Off-Night Spectacular", which takes place every last Wednesday, also features a now-legendary freestyle rap set and "Love Battle" hosted this month by Daveed Diggs of The Getback and The Freeze, with music provided by The Department of Transportation (Killing My Lobster).

Bucky Sinister has performed around the country and has shared the stage with punk legends Jello Biafra and Lydia Lunch, as well as comedians Greg Proops and Drew Carey. His most recent work All Blacked Out and Nowhere to Go was published by Gorsky Press. His debut CD, What Happens in Narnia Stays in Narnia, comes out in September.
