Crimestoppers Teen Peace Summit April 24, 2012

In partnership with Clear Channel Radio and presented by First NBC the Teen Peace Summit focuses on positive messages, featuring national and local musical guest and speakers on the topics of crime prevention and conflict resolution, helping students to see how they can make a difference in reducing crime and promoting peace in our communities. Through our partnerships with over 30 GNO organizations, we seek to give students the tools and motivation to enact positive change for themselves, their peers, and the communities. This event compliments and builds upon the Crimestoppers Safe School Program, which reaches annually more than 50,000 local students in their schools each year, encouraging them to take responsibility for the safety of their school and communities, and providing them with the necessary tools to prevent and report crime.
