Cream of the Cloth: Quilts From the Marbaum Collection of Hilary and Marvin Fletcher January 11, 2011

'Cream of the Cloth' is the first-ever exhibition of the personal collection of long-time contemporary art quilt advocates Hilary and Marvin Fletcher. This important collection is a rare survey of 25 years of the contemporary art quilt movement and includes works by renowned artists Michael James, Jane Sassaman, Sue Benner and Caryl Bryer Fallert. These art quilts were collected from Quilt National exhibits and submissions between 1985 and 2007 and also includes some commissioned works.
