Dr. Brian R. Sinclair, FRAIC AIA, is Professor of Architecture/Environmental Design, and Presidential Advisor on Design + Sustainability, at the University of Calgary. His research and consulting on socially and environmentally sustainable design is broad-reaching and global in scope and he is internationally known for his work. Dr. Sinclair will be speaking to CPAWS about frameworks for sustainable planning & design which considers culture, diversity, complexity, uncertainty and possibility. Sustainable design is a way for our society to use fewer resources, which will help take pressure off of wild spaces.
