Spring is here – the 20th March is the vernal equinox and officially the first day of spring. With the prospect of warmer days; gardens bursting into bloom; outdoor activities and summer picnics, the Country Living Magazine Spring Fair is perfect for planning ahead.

From the 20th – 24h March at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London N1, the Fair is a wonderful day out.

Three halls are filled to the brim with 400 diverse and individual exhibitors, selected from across the country to present original products that range from interior accessories to outdoor essentials, to spring clean and refresh the home and garden.

The Country Living Magazine Spring Fair showcases original enterprise with children’s toys and clothes, graphics, paper work and personal pampering. There is everything for the homemaker here, promoting the hand-made and home crafts.

The food hall celebrates the UK’s finest food producers and their regional specialities, with opportunities for tasting too.

From cheese makers to spirited distilleries; butchers and bakers – special sausages and salami’s; Mediterranean bread and pastries - and the candlestick makers are there too! Leith’s Cookery School will be giving daily demonstrations for seasonal suggestions.

Come and find inspiration from the expert demonstrators and hands on workshops. TV presenter famed for the Halcyon River Diaries, Philippa Forrester, will be at the Fair every day, giving advice about gardening and composting in the Nature & Outdoor Theatre.

Bring out your inner artist in the Crafting Room or the Art Workshops, led by people who turned their hobbies into their livelihoods. Whether you are interested in stitching and sewing, gardening, flower arranging, cookery or even landscape painting there are ideas to intrigue and entertain.

Where else would you find such a wealth of brilliant enterprise and entrepreneurs gathered together all under one roof – certainly not on the high street.

It’s what makes the Country Living Magazine Spring Fair such a special, unmissable, event.
