"CORRECTION" to Aptos Swing State Cell Phone Bank, Dinner Provided & Optional Partying Afterwards! November 1, 2008

CORRECTION TO FIRST EVENT ENTRY: Unfortunately, there is some computer snag attached to this event and i could not log on manage it, nor could i receive emails from those who signed up. So, please use this announcement and ignore the one that does not say "corrected".

also, the 25th is cancelled, but we will have the gathering on 11/1.
SO, HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!

As mentioned in my first announcement, I'm relatively new to the Aptos/Santa Cruz area and this will be the only event I have sponsored to assist the Obama campaign.

So, I need all your help and am personally setting the example for those of you who have yet to volunteer your time and effort, but have felt it was too late --as well as asking the more experienced to help us newbies out!

I'm opening up my home to all of you with cell phones who are willing to give this campaign a culminating burst of energy! Please come for four hours, 2-6 pm and help with the calls that the organizers determine are most needed. I promise to provide snacks throughout, feed you a good dinner afterwards and if you are still kicking--- we can all go out dancing at Severino's or some such place! We have data people willing to help record our findings and each other to help answer questions and provide the energy.

I am providing the "general area" that the event will take place and will forward more detailed instructions once you sign up. Feel free to call me between 10-10, and make sure you include your email or phone when you sign up so i can respond and direct you to the event. Please let me know by the Friday afternoon before the event, if not earlier--so i can get you fed properly! I'm within walking distance to the rio del mar beach.
