Corrales Studio Art Tour May 1, 2010

This spring the village of Corrales will once again host one of the most successful studio tour events in the state of New Mexico. The 12th annual Corrales Art Studio Tour will boast over 50 artists opening their studios and homes to the public in an invitation to see how they develop, execute, and display their art.

An exhibition of the participating studio tour artists will be held at the Oasis Coffee and Tea Shop at 4940 Corrales Road the weekend of the tour, so that potential attendees have one spot they can stop at and see representations of all of the artist’s work.

The artists participating in this year’s Corrales Art Studio Tour promise to be some of the finest that New Mexico has to offer including experts and professionals working in oils and watercolors, pastels and colored pencil, ceramics and fiber arts, jewelry and metal. See how they live and work their magic! Many of the studio tour stops this year will feature multiple artists in one spot for enhanced viewing. All in the quaint and lovely setting of the village of Corrales which features cottonwoods in bloom, fine dining, and a variety of shops and historical landmarks, all just a few minutes away!
