CopyNight is a monthly social gathering of people interested in restoring balance in copyright law. We meet over drinks once a month in many cities to discuss new developments and build social ties between artists, software developers, filmmakers, academics, lawyers, and many others. Here in Toronto we meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month, and our group usually includes the genial and knowledgeable Ren Bucholz, recently the Electronic Frontier Foundation's policy coordinator for the Americas (until he decided to go to law school).

This month only, the event is being combined with the Fair Copyright For Canada meet&greet event. It will be at the Gladstone Hotel, in the Melody Bar, from 7 to 9 pm.
