581 Markham Street
Toronto, Ontario M6B 2L7

CopyNight is a monthly social gathering of people interested in restoring balance in copyright law. We meet over drinks once a month in many cities to discuss new developments and build social ties between artists, software developers, filmmakers, academics, lawyers, and many others. Here in Toronto we meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month, and our group usually includes (whenever he's not agitating at some conference) the genial and knowledgeable Ren Bucholz, the Electronic Frontier Foundation's policy coordinator for the Americas.

We'll be at the same venue as last time, the Victory Cafe at 581 Markham Street (one block south of Bloor, one block west of Bathurst, very close to the Bathurst subway station and the Bathurst streetcar). We'll start at 8pm like last time. Ren will be there.

Rats! Sorry I missed it. Great location, though.

Cheers,

I had to miss it too because of a work crunch.
