1136 Queen St W
Toronto, Ontario

CopyNight is a monthly social gathering of people interested in restoring balance in copyright law. We meet over drinks once a month in many cities to discuss new developments and build social ties between artists, software developers, filmmakers, academics, lawyers, and many others. Here in Toronto, our group usually includes (whenever he's not agitating at some conference) the genial and knowledgeable Ren Bucholz, the Electronic Frontier Foundation's policy coordinator for the Americas.

Because other events are also occurring at the same time, and some people would like to go to more than one, this particular CopyNight Toronto gathering will be held at the same time and place as the "Civic Bandwidth: Community WiFi +/- Municipal Wireless" event organized by Wireless Toronto. Information on that event is at http://upcoming.org/event/139781/
