EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The Cool Black Ball is a colorful and jazzy retro celebration of the style and people of the influential decades (20s – 50s) that helped shape the Jazz sound of the Fillmore. The vintage-couture Ball takes place throughout the Fillmore neighborhood, in restaurants and music venues on Fillmore St from Post to Eddy Street.
Listen and dance to great music – jazz, R&B, swing, soul - featured simultaneously at the Fillmore Center Plaza (outdoors) and in the Fillmore’s great clubs: Rasselas, Yoshis, Sheba Piano Lounge and The Boom Boom Room. Attendees can also dine at one of the Fillmore restaurants and experience the diverse food and culture of the Fillmore. The Ball showcases the exciting and revitalized Fillmore - the heart and soul of the city.
