This conversation examines the international networks of Conceptual artists in the 1960s and 1970s, with a focus on three artists - Ger van Elk, Allen Ruppersberg, and Lawrence Weiner - who hail from some of the movement's most active cities: Amsterdam, Los Angeles and New York, respectively. Christophe Cherix, curator in the Department of Prints and Illustrated Books and organizer of 'In & Out of Amsterdam: Travels in Conceptual Art, 1960-1976' moderates a discussion with the artists.
