Contra Costa County Library 2009 Reading Festival presents Research the Stories of Your Family: Genealogy for Beginners - Experts May 9, 2009

"Hear a story, tell a story, and read a story" are all part of researching your family history. It's the stories of our ancestors that bring history to life. Jane Knowles Lindsey, president of the California Genealogical Society, will teach you the tools to get you started and share some of the amusing stories she has discovered over the past 25 years.
