John Stezaker is an artist based in London and Senior Tutor at the Royal College of Art. He has exhibited internationally at venues including Tate Britain; the Barbican Art Gallery, London; White Columns, New York and Kunstverein, Dusseldorf. His practice builds on a rich tradition of photomontage, creating original artworks through the combination and telling juxtaposition of found imagery. Stezaker will discuss his recent work and the ideas informing his practice.

This talk is part of the Contemporary Photography Professional Practice and Contexts Spring 2008 series of talks organised by Photoworks and the MA Photography course at the University of Brighton.

All talks are held at the Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton between 6.30-7.30pm.
