This exhibition is the first to explore the Pan-American scope of geometric abstraction between the 1920s and 1950s. Featuring over 80 rarely seen paintings, sculptures, prints, photographs, drawings and films, 'Constructive Spirit: Abstract Art in South and North America, 1920s-50s' is drawn from the Newark Museum's preeminent collection of North American art with loans from the world's leading collections of South and North American art.
