Conference - Just Climate? Pursuing Environmental Justice in the Face of Global Climate Change. March 25, 2004

"The Environmental Justice and Global Climate Change Student Group (EJCC) and the School of Natural Resources and Environment (SNRE) at the University of Michigan (UM) are pleased to announce the upcoming conference, ?Just Climate? Pursuing Environmental Justice in the Face of Global Climate Change,? to take place in Ann Arbor, MI from March 26-28, 2004. The aim of the conference is to further the dialogue among scientists, academics, policy-makers, economists, residents and activists from communities around the world about how global climate change will affect disadvantaged communities. We wish to identify what efforts can be made to mitigate and adapt to these changes and explore policies and collaborative projects that are a step towards climate justice."
