(Blues)
Deja Blues is a new band to this year's line up for Concerts in the Park.

Deja Blues began as a series of casual "jams" initiated by a mutual friend. From the beginning one of the special things about our sessions was that the musicians spanned the generations from boomers to x'ers. What tied it all together was our love for the great masters of the past as well as the present. Our times together were spent not only jamming, but listening to classic, and often forgotten, blues and r&b tunes.

Those same eclectic and intergenerational influences have helped shape our sound and song list. At a Deja Blues show you're likely to hear blues-rock standards from Van Morrison and Eric Clapton, more r&b tinged tunes like War's Low Rider and James Brown's I Feel Good, and of course lots of straight up blues classics such as Messing with the Kid, Tore Down, and T-Bone Shuffle. One thing we aim to do is to generate lots of energy when we play; we want our audience to get up and dance!

NO PLASTIC TARPS OR ROCKS TO HOLD BLANKETS DOWN PLEASE! Thank you for your cooperation.
