David Arnold, one of the UK's most successful composers, is an ambassador for CARE International, a leading aid organisation fighting global poverty and delivering emergency aid to survivors of war and natural disasters. Arnold is passionate about his work with CARE and devotes a huge amount of time raising awareness and funds for the charity.

In November 2009, David Arnold put together the first Concert for CARE at the O2 Academy Brixton and invited many of the biggest names in music and comedy to appear, including Gary Barlow, Mark Ronson, Kaiser Chiefs, Damien Rice, Simon le Bon, David Walliams, Rob Brydon and Dara O’Briain.

The success of that gig led David Arnold to create a new Concert for CARE for 2010 that will feature some of the most successful film composers in the world today. It promises to be one of the major events of the year in the film music calendar.
