Community Music Festival for Global Awareness June 6, 2009

Description: Help us fight malaria! Support youth voice! Come see PERFORMANCES by NYC youth, including music, spoken word, and more – and help with a service project to raise awareness. Featuring CFC’s Sweat for Nets program for malaria prevention, one of the globe’s most pressing issues. For all ages.

By Subway – Take the D train to 174-175 Streets. Exit near E 174th St and Grand Concourse. Walk south on Grand Concourse, turn left on Mt Eden Parkway, and enter Claremont Park at the corner of Mt Eden Pkwy and Morris Ave. Follow the path to the gazebo.

Registration: Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Youth attending without a parent/guardian, please have a Registration Form signed in advance. Groups of 15 or more, please RSVP.
