COMINF'07, 2nd International Workshop on Community Informatics November 25, 2007

COMINF07 seeks to gather researchers and practitioners interested in the description, modeling and analysis of community requirements, the design and implementation of community based ICT and community information systems, and the evaluation of these technologies in order to determine their effective use. We are looking for multiple perspectives and approaches and invite four types of original, unpublished work, not under consideration for publication elsewhere:

* Technical Solution Papers which describe original approaches (theoretical, methodological or conceptual) of using ICT to solve a problem or propose improvements within the field of communities and networks.

* Rigorous Study Papers that describe and evaluate existing methods, tools or models in the field of community informatics.

* Community Practice and Action Research Papers which illustrate and reflect on the social, cultural, technological and historic issues arising from the development and appropriation of ICT for community support purposes.
