Comedy Night at the Claddagh February 27, 2009

A night of laughs can help provide several nights of meals for those in need. The Claddagh Pub & Restaurant in Lawrence will host a Comedy Night on Friday, Feb. 27 to benefit the Lazarus House. The night will feature comedians Jimmy Dunn, Dave Rattigan and Erin Livingston Carroll followed by a performance Celtic rock band, Beyond the Pale. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and for tickets purchased in advance, $10 will go to support the continued restocking and expansion of the Lazarus House Food Pantry. The number of people seeking food from Lazarus House’s weekly food distribution has tripled over the past 15 months. Proceeds from this event will help to ensure that Lazarus House can meet the increasing need.
