Paul Ogata
In October of 2007, Paul Ogata won the prestigious 32nd Annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition, putting him in an exclusive club with the likes of Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Sinbad, , Ellen Degeneres, and other comedy greats. In 2008, Paul was featured on ComedyCentral's "Live at Gotham", the syndicated "Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen". He has also appeared in Damon Wayans' film "Behind the Smile", on CBS' "The Late Late Show" as well as on TBS, NBC and PBS. "Amazing Asian," a short film starring Paul Ogata as an under-appreciated superhero, premiered to sold-out crowds in Honolulu in May of 2004. The comedy has also played at the Hawaii International Film Festival as well as film festivals around the world. Paul is also an award-winning recording artist. "Mental Oriental" hit the record stores to good reviews and propelled Paul to win the 1999 Hawaii Music Award for Most Popular Comedy Artist.
