Women of Colorstruck To Rock The Midway

Colorstruck, Boston’s original show featuring an all-female lineup of comedians of color is returning to the summer stage for a night of sassy, scintillating stand-up on August 2nd. To be held at the Midway Café at 3496 Washington St. in Jamaica Plain for two shows – one at 8pm and another 10pm -- this year’s Colorstruck will feature a fanstastically funny lineup of comedians representing a multitude of ethnicities and a variety of viewpoints including; Sandy Asai (Boston), Janet Cormier (Boston/Jamaica Plain), Deb Farrar-Parkman (Boston/Dorchester), Coleen Galvin (Providence, RI), Sheila Jackson (Portland, ME), Bethany Van Delft (Boston/South End), and Last Comic Standing 2008 finalist, Esther Ku (Boston, Chicago), and Michelle Buteau (Comedy Central, VH1, Oxygen) Past performers include: Karith Foster (Imus in the Morning, Comedy Central, VH1), Leigh Ann Lord (The Original HBO Def Comedy All Star Jam, winner of ABC's The View "Hilarious Housewives, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, Comics Unleashed), Roz Browne (Comic View, The View, America's Funniest People) Tickets can be purchased for $15 by visiting www.midwaycafe.com.
