The Treasury recognises the complexity of the coding used in the COINS data that have been released. It is organising a short seminar on 2 July from 0930 to 1230 aimed at developers and others that are using the released data to generate systems or other on-line capabilities to allow the public to access the released data. The seminar will aim to provide further information on:

The differing data types and their usage;
“Key” fields for the purposes of building meaningful aggregates;
Building key/meaningful aggregates, with their associated field combinations and exclusions;
Difficulties associated with reconstructing exactly published information.
The seminar will also try to address specific issues pre-advised by those attending.

We would like to invite developers to request a place at the seminar by completing the form http://tinyurl.com/3xpbulq, and sending it to [email protected] by Friday 25 June. Space at the seminar is limited, and if over-subscribed we will use the information provided to identify those to whom places will be offered. We will inform you if you have been allocated a place by Wednesday 30 June.
