Between 1990 and 1994, the New York City based band Codeine released three groundbreaking records on Sub Pop, 'Frigid Stars LP', 'Barely Real', and 'The White Birch', that have continued to intrigue and inspire. The acclaimed reissue label Numero Group will release all three records as vinyl double-albums with cd's, adding previously unreleased songs, b-sides, demos, and live material. To celebrate these releases, the original lineup of Codeine (John Engle, Stephen Immerwahr, Chris Brokaw) will play a short series of live dates.
