48th and Woodland
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19104

Portland, Oregon's Microcosm Publishing presents its longest and most exciting tour ever! This time out the performance features readings and a film!

Reading will be zine editor Dave Roche, who has just published an anthology of his zines about substitute teaching entitled, accurately enough, On Subbing. Also speaking aloud will be Jack Saturn, author of the memoir zine/novel We Ain't Got No Car!. Comic artist Nicole Georges will be giving a multimedia overhead projector presentation full of asides to her stories in her new zine anthology, Invincible Summer.

Finally, to cap the evening, Joe Biel will be presenting his new documentary about zines in the Pacific Northwest, $100 and a T-shirt, featuring interviews with all of the evening's performers, as well as about 60 others. It's 82 minutes that will appeal to old-time zine readers as well as people who don't even know what that word means!
